Well, here we are in December and still silence. We, the faithful await your thoughts (And that goes for Naomi's wonderful Masoret site). Good blogs do need readers, but also, postings.

Well Ken, I hope the “pregnant” pause between the date this was posted and now, is you rappelling down the face of cliff on your way to your “woodshop” to put the finishing touches on a walnut trestle table and matching benches.

Hi, Kenneth. I just wanted to show you some support and express my admiration for sharing your personal experience. I myself have also been posting less, as i called off my wedding 10 days before (woke up in time to what an a$$hole i was about to marry)it was supposed to happen in March. I am sure a divorce is way more traumatic, but i can certainly identify with the unfortunate lack of woodworking during emotionally trying times.
Anyway, be strong, and keep blogging!

Kenneth,
Glad to hear you seem to be coming through ok at the end. I know it's been a long and hard journey. Hopefully at the end of it you're the better for it. Hell, even if all you gain is the rock climbing, hopefully it remains a life long passion.

Kenneth, thanks for the great post. I found woodworking two years ago as I was going through a divorce. It was the worst two years of my life. But it got better. And I was able to take the time alone to reflect on who I was. Time in the workshop helped me find peace. It is good to read that others find similar time for reflection. Good luck.

Rock on, Kenneth. Get your bearings and as usual, share where they are (some of us might need to find them, too)!
